Responsibilities
Chinese Drama Programme Researcher:
1. Conduct in-depth research on various topics, including cultural, historical, and social aspects, as well as professional jobs, and thematic elements relevant to the drama's setting and themes.
2. Collaborate with the writing team to provide accurate and compelling information that enhances the authenticity and richness of the storyline.
3. Stay updated on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies to contribute valuable insights to the production process.
4. Assist in script development by providing detailed background information, references, and supporting materials.
5. Establish collaborations with external experts, consultants, and historians to ensure accuracy and authenticity in the portrayal of specific topics.
6. Maintaining research records, sources, and preparing reports for creative and production teams.
Qualifications
Requirements
1. Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
2. Resourceful and observant.
3. Passionate about reading articles on diverse topics, including current affairs, social issues, literature, and legal/medical/cultural matters.
