Mitsubishi Corporation RtM International Pte Ltd (RtMI), based in Singapore, is the global mineral resources trading hub of Mitsubishi Corporation. Purpose of role
The intern would support the Digital Transformation Department in the daily production / maintenance of management dashboards (e.g. Trading & Risk dashboard, Credit dashboard) and contribute in continuous improvement efforts towards data visualization and process automation.
Responsibilities
Production-based (50%)
- Daily production and maintenance of management dashboard and ensuring top data quality and process efficiency
Project-based (30%)
- Enhancement of new functionalities / features in the management dashboard and process streamlining of daily production activities
Other (20%)
- Research on new digital transformation technologies and functional initiatives
Knowledge and Experience
- Major in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science or Business Administration preferred
- Programming experience (e.g. Python, R, SQL)
- Data Visualization experience (e.g. Power BI, Tableu)
- Good excel skills (e.g. VBA, Pivot Tables)
- Basic understanding of database and big data technologies (e.g. Azure, Spark, Hadoop)
- Prior Internship experience with commodity trading houses
