Varsity Holdings – Marketing Intern (AI Fintech / Quant Trading Platform)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hungry, execution-focused Marketing Intern who understands how attention works in fintech.

This is not a “make Canva posts” role. You’ll be directly involved in growth, distribution, and positioning of a next-gen AI trading product.

What You’ll Do

1. Content & Distribution (Core)

• Create high-signal content for:

  • Twitter (X), LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord

  • Short-form + long-form (threads, posts, breakdowns)

• Turn product features into:

  • “Prompt → Strategy → Results” content

  • Trading insights, case studies, and breakdowns

• Execute community seeding strategy (NOT spam posting)

2. Growth Experiments

• Run rapid experiments on:

  • Content angles (what actually converts traders)

  • Hooks, narratives, positioning

• Track performance:

  • Engagement → signups → activation

• Identify what resonates with traders vs noise

3. Product Positioning

• Help shape:

  • Messaging (“AI trading assistant” vs “quant engine” vs “vibe trading”)

  • Landing page copy

  • Feature storytelling

4. Community Building

• Engage with:

  • Retail traders

  • Quant communities

  • AI builders

• Seed discussions, gather feedback, and surface insights to the team

5. Content Systems (Important)

• Help build scalable systems:

  • Prompt libraries

  • Strategy “recipes”

  • Repeatable content pipelines

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• Strong interest in trading, crypto, or markets

• Has actually posted content before (don’t care about follower count, care about thinking)

• Understands internet culture + attention mechanics

• High agency: you don’t wait for instructions

Bonus (High Signal)

• You trade (even small size)

• You’ve built something (content page, bot, community, etc.)

• Familiar with:

  • AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)

  • Basic quant concepts

• Can break down complex ideas simply

What You’ll Learn

• How real fintech products grow (not theory)

• Distribution > product (and how to actually do it)

• How traders think, behave, and lose money

• How to position AI products in crowded markets

Compensation

• Paid internship (SGD-based, depending on experience)

• Potential full-time conversion within 3–6 months
