Full-time Accounts Assistant (Remote)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in accounting, preferably within a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bookkeeping, maintain ledgers, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Prepare invoices, process payments, and reconcile bank statements.
Assist in financial reporting, month-end, and year-end closing.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Support audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or an accounts assistant role.
Experience in a small practice or professional services environment is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
