Rotimatic is the world’s first fully-automated roti maker. Rotis is an Indian flat-bread and is a staple food for 800 million South Asians. A homemaker in India can spend over 12,000 hours over her lifetime making rotis for her family. Rotimatic frees homemakers from this centuries-old chore and is a boon for busy singles and working couples alike.
The creation of a roti begins with dry wheat flour, which is kneaded with water and oil to form dough. A piece of dough is rolled and flattened into a uniform round disc and then roasted on a flame. Getting it just right is equal parts art and science. But, done manually, the process is labor-intensive, tedious and time consuming.

The Digital Marketing Intern should be passion for all things digital and a great multi-tasker. he/she will be capable of working independently and have the ability to manage shifting priorities and concurrent projects.
About the Role:
As a part of the Digital Sales function, your primary focus will be to assist in development and implementation of campaigns - right from providing campaign ideas, creating content for campaigns across platforms and final implementation - that directly lead to customer acquisition. You must have passion for consumer marketing and research, with strong analytical & creative mindset. Consumer research is also a part of your responsibility and therefore you must be comfortable interacting with customers face to face or virtually.
Responsibilities -
- Assist in development and implementation of multiple sales campaigns across platforms - social media, emails, website, advertising etc
- Help coordinating campaign related changes on the online store with ecommerce teams.
- Assist in launching paid media campaigns
- Develop quality content for email campaigns, ads and web pages.
- Monitor, track performance of the campaign across markets and channels and develop daily, weekly and monthly reports for all the key metrics.
- Undertake qualitative research through surveys, one-to-one interviews etc to get deeper insights into the consumer buying pattern.
- Assist in conceptualizing the creative requirements based on the understanding of the consumer and the market. Collaborate with the creative team for the development of these creative assets.
- Assist in managing the day to day relationship with media and creative agencies.
- Assist the manager with any ad hoc marketing or research projects.
Requirements -
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient knowledge on Microsoft suite, power user of excel
- Previous experience with Google Analytics or Adobe analytics prefered.
- Basic understanding of advertising (CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, Impressions etc). Working knowledge of ad campaign set up will be a bonus.
- Exposure to email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Previous startup experience highly preferred
