Job Description

The jobholder supports the Operations Department in its efforts to plan and coordinate the company’s operational and logistical needs. The jobholder is responsible for the successful planning and implementation of the company’s programmes and initiatives.

The jobholder is expected to work from 9.00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays (either in office or remotely) Although the jobholder is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he/she is also expected to travel where necessary to schools or organisations to support and supervise the delivery of the programmes.

The jobholder assists the Operations and Training Managers to :

  • Recruit and train potential and existing *trainers for the delivery of programmes (such as Code-For-Fun, Math/Science Olympiad, Learning Journeys etc)
  • Oversee (and assist, if necessary) the delivery and operations of programmes in schools / organisations / learning institutions or online
  • Manage the deployment and database of the trainers for all programmes
  • Prepare the payroll for trainers at the end of the month to be submitted to the Finance Department
  • Manage the procurement, maintenance and stocktaking of goods and equipment needed for programmes.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as requested by company directors or managers

Academic/Professional Qualification/Requirements

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in Programme/Project Management, Human Resource, IT or Education industry preferred.
  • At least a diploma/Higher NITEC in relevant fields preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across different levels.
  • Possess strong leadership skills, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to adapt, learn and develop new skills as company’s needs/direction change(s)
  • A good team player and able to work independently.
  • Able to work outside office hours (including weekends) if required to. Time-off hours claimable with NO over-time pay.
