Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our power plant team and assist in the digitalization of our thermodynamic model. As a Plant Performance & Digitalisation intern, you will be exposed to the development and implementation of advanced modelling techniques used to optimize the plants' performance. Additionally, you will also be exposed to the generation of dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to visualize plant performance metrics and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of advanced thermodynamic models for the power plant using Ebsilon Modelling software similar to Aspen Hysys.
- Work closely with the operations team to collect and analyze data to improve model accuracy and performance.
- Utilize software tools to develop and simulate the power plant processes, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist in developing and delivering training sessions to plant personnel on the use of the digital models and related software tools.
- Generate dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to visualize plant performance metrics and key performance indicato
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and P&ID
- Proficiency in using modelling software tools such as Aspen Hysys
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
