Job Description
Job Purpose

The Digital Learning Content Specialist is responsible for creating engaging digital learning materials that support workforce capability development. The role focuses on producing training videos, developing interactive learning content, and using AI tools to speed up content creation while maintaining quality and accuracy.

The successful candidate will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to turn technical information into clear, practical, and learner-friendly content for self-paced and blended learning.

Key Responsibilities 1.Digital Learning Content Development
  • Design and develop digital learning content for technical and operational training programmes.
  • Convert training materials, SOPs, manuals, and technical documents into engaging digital learning resources.
  • Create interactive learning modules using Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, or equivalent tools.
  • Apply adult learning principles to make complex technical information easier to understand.
2.Video Production
  • Plan, script, storyboard, record, and edit training videos.
  • Conduct on-site filming of technical procedures, equipment, and workplace demonstrations.
  • Add subtitles, voiceovers, graphics, animations, and interactive elements to improve learning effectiveness.
  • Maintain organised video files, project folders, and version control.
3.AI-Enabled Content Creation
  • Use AI tools to create learning content, video narration, voiceovers, avatars, graphics, assessments, and learning aids.
  • Apply AI tools to improve production speed while checking content for accuracy and quality.
  • Keep up with relevant AI tools for learning and content development.
4.Stakeholder Engagement and Project Management
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather information and validate content accuracy.
  • Manage reviews, collect feedback, and revise content within agreed timelines.
  • Handle at least two learning content projects at the same time.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and training teams where required.
5.Learning Administration Support
  • Support uploading and maintaining learning materials in the Learning Management System.
  • Monitor content quality and learner experience.
  • Support other Technical Learning initiatives as assigned.
Key Deliverables
  • Professional training videos and digital learning modules.
  • Interactive e-learning content for technical and operational training.
  • AI-generated learning resources and multimedia assets.
  • Learning content uploaded and maintained in the LMS.
  • Project deliverables completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

Miminum Requirements Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Learning Design, Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia, Digital Media, Communications, Film Production, or related disciplines.
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in developing digital learning content, training videos, or e-learning materials.
  • Experience in recording and editing training, instructional, or educational videos.
  • Experience using AI tools to develop learning content, videos, graphics, voiceovers, or training materials.
  • Experience managing more than one project at the same time.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent e-learning authoring tools.
  • Working knowledge of AI content creation tools.
  • Strong PowerPoint and visual design skills.
  • Basic graphic design and image editing skills.
Competencies
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage at least two projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical information for different audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial, engineering, utilities, manufacturing, or technical training environments.
  • Experience creating microlearning, interactive videos, or scenario-based learning.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems.
  • Familiarity with instructional design methods and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with motion graphics, animation, or multimedia production.

Base / Location: PSPS (Pulau Seraya Power Station), 3 Seraya Avenue, Jurong Island, Singapore 628209

Company transportation will be provided from designated pickup points where applicable.

Contract Type: 6 months

Reports To: Technical Learning Manager

Safety & Security (Jurong Island)

  • Jurong Island is a Protected Area; persons/vehicles require valid passes for entry. Clearance must be maintained throughout the internship.
  • Attendance at Safety Induction Course (SIC) and compliance with station WSH rules are mandatory for onsite work/visits.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in designated plant areas (e.g., safety helmet, hearing protection).
