YTL PowerSeraya – Financial Ops Intern

YTL PowerSeraya is in the business of producing, wholesaling, trading and retailing of energy; with a primary focus on electricity. As an established player in Singapore’s energy sector, it supplies the country’s energy needs through its multi-utilities platform.

With a licensed generating capacity of 3100MW, YTL PowerSeraya is one of Singapore's largest electricity generators. The Group has two subsidiaries: the retail arm under the Geneco brand provides electricity price plans and energy solutions to homes and businesses; while PetroSeraya is the fuel management arm of the Group.

• Process vendor invoices for payments on a timely basis
• Liaise with vendors and business users for any discrepancies in vendor invoices
• Liaise with customers for timely collection of invoices
• Process payments, receipts and month-end closing entries
• Prepare inter-company billing
• Support cash flow forecast, GL, reporting and GST submissions when necessary
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and bank reconciliation reports
• Support audits, including financial year-end audit, internal controls audit, etc
• Any other ad-hoc duties
