YTL PowerSeraya – Financial Accounting Intern

YTL PowerSeraya is in the business of producing, wholesaling, trading and retailing of energy; with a primary focus on electricity. As an established player in Singapore’s energy sector, it supplies the country’s energy needs through its multi-utilities platform.

With a licensed generating capacity of 3100MW, YTL PowerSeraya is one of Singapore's largest electricity generators. The Group has two subsidiaries: the retail arm under the Geneco brand provides electricity price plans and energy solutions to homes and businesses; while PetroSeraya is the fuel management arm of the Group.

• Process vendor invoices for payments on a timely basis
• Follow up with business users for goods receipt
• Liaise with vendors for any discrepancies in vendor invoices
• Prepare invoices to customers as per the billing instructions provided by business users and GST requirements
• Liaise with customers for invoice issuance and disputes (if any)
• Preparing inter-company billing and withholding tax submission (if any)
• Support month-end closing activities
• Support audits, including financial year-end audit, internal controls audit, etc
• Any other ad-hoc duties
