As an BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN, your job would be to assist the Director with the following (but not all inclusive):
PHASE ONE – LOCAL STUDIES
1. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs in Singapore for food service (b2b)
2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs in Singapore for retail sales (b2c)
3. Competitor study of companies in similar industries
4.Map out the B2B , B2C and Competitor landscape and come out with a strategy to enter the market
5. Study the legal landscape / government regulations governing businesses in the post-covid marketplace 6. Map out the strategy
7. Execute and track performance
8. Refine the strategy and re-deploy
PHASE 2 – OVERSEAS MARKET STUDIES (OPTIONAL)
1. Business research studies on the feasibility of setting up an overseas site office /OEM from other factories using a cost analysis model
2.Competitor study of companies in similar industries
3. Profile the consumer in these global markets
4. Submit a document detailing the steps and requirements to enter the global market.
