Established in 1993, Yhingthai Palace Restaurant has been serving authentic Thai and Thai Chinese cuisine for more than 30 years. We place great emphasis on freshness and quality of the ingredients used in our dishes.
Yhingthai Palace Restaurant first opened at 13 Purvis Street off Beach Road, with a seating capacity of about 60 guests. In January 1998, the restaurant moved across to a larger premise at 36 Purvis Street and expanded the seating capacity to accommodate up to 120 guests.
Over the years, our team has strived to provide all guests with a comfortable dining experience paired with quality food.
This role focuses on customer acquisition, engagement, and outward communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Social Media and Engagement: Plan, create, and schedule social media content (photos, videos, posts), monitor comments, and respond to followers.
 - Marketing for the Business: Assist with marketing campaigns, track performance metrics, conduct market research on competitors, and brainstorm new promotional ideas.
 - Responding to Customer Queries for Reservations: Manage a dedicated inbox or platform for reservation requests, provide excellent customer service, and ensure bookings are entered correctly into the system.
 - Educational Value: The intern will gain hands-on experience with digital marketing strategies, social media management tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) in a hospitality setting.
 
Mentorship/Supervision: Regular check-ins on content calendars, customer response templates, and campaign performance.
