About our M&A Practice 

The M&A Consulting practice provides advisory services to clients seeking strategic expansion opportunities in Southeast Asia and India. Our key areas of expertise include: 

•    Buy-side Advisory: Supporting Japanese and regional companies in acquisitions and strategic investments

•    Sell-side Advisory: Acting as financial advisors to companies looking to divest, as well as assisting early-stage companies in fundraising

We provide our clients with holistic M&A support from Pre-M&A Strategy Development to M&A Deal Execution and Post-Merger Integration support – including deal sourcing, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation. Being a lean, entrepreneurial team, interns will gain diverse exposure across the M&A process, ensuring continuous learning and development. 

Job Description

Duration: Full-time internship for 4-5 months. Starting in December 2026 / January 2027. This internship can be credit-bearing or based on Leave of Absence (LOA). 

Job Description 

As an M&A Spring Analyst, you will work closely with the M&A team to support deal origination and execution across the M&A lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Conducting market and industry research, financial benchmarking and valuation analysis support deals for buy-side and sell-side clients
  • Preparing Teasers, Pitch Decks, and Information Memorandums for investor and buyer outreach
  • Supporting deal evaluation and due diligence by consolidating data, conducting in-depth analysis, and translating findings into actionable insights

Who We Are Looking For
Required: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities, with a hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Solid foundation in finance and accounting concepts (e.g., financial statements and ratios)
  • Self-motivated, independent and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Accounting, Corporate Finance or Consulting experience preferred
  • Other language capability (Business level) is an advantage
