As we continue to expand our presence globally, our Singapore office is now looking for a Business Development Executive.
About Role
Role : Business Development Executive
Reporting to : Country Manager, SEA
Venue : Singapore, home-based (until we have confirmed our workspace) with weekly/bi-weekly f2f meeting
Primary objectives
a) Grant submissions
b) Lead generation
c) Solutioning
a) Grant submissions
- Ownership of government funding submissions, starting from SG and eventually rest of SEA
- Understand requirements for different available grants, liaison with the needed agencies/vendors, preparing the necessary information, seeing the process to completion
- This objective will be a key priority of this role especially in the first months of joining
- Success means – Xccelerate’s courses attaining accreditation status and qualifying for grants across all available funding programs
b) Lead generation
- Create leads for sales team to follow up in SEA across Xccelerate’s product suite
- Prepare and deliver collateral for marketing outreach
- Success means – Consistent lead generation, regular client-marketing updates
c) Solutioning
- Work with Sales on client’s requirements and structure proposals
- Liaison with Product team and vendors to develop content for clients
- Liaison with Engineering to grow our platform offerings (as needed)
- Search, qualify and liaison for new trainers and vendors regionally
- Success means – Producing quality and timely proposals for projects
We Are Looking For
Degree in any discipline
Must have a flair for writing
Understand training and curriculum structure
Some digital marketing knowhow will be advantageous
Mix of market research and outreach
Willing to learn and get hands dirty in all aspects of the business
3-5 years experience preferred
