JOB SUMMARY
Web Developer Intern will support technology team in designing and implementing websites, applications and digital assets using variety of innovative technologies, languages, and platforms. Collaborate with designers, account managers, project managers and fellow senior developers to provide support to end-users, analyze problems and develop technical solutions.
RESPONSIBILITES
· Implement robust solutions using variety of platforms and technologies
· Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
· Create engaging interactive and consistent user experiences across multiple devices
· Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
· Manage all aspects of design, development, testing, and implementation
· Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
· Work and collaborate with other developers locally and regionally to deliver solutions and services
· Look for opportunities to propose new technologies, share ideas and expand own skillset
· Participate in meetings, online trainings, conferences and summits
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Strong experience in web development with HTML5, JS and CSS3/SASS
· Knowledge of at least one server-side programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Ongoing education or a degree in Computer Science
· Frontend development with React, Angular, JS, HTML5 and CSS3, SASS
· Backend (PHP, C#, Java) and application development (iOS, Android)
· Experience with multiple PHP and .NET frameworks, open source and enterprise content management systems
· Able to design, query and optimize SQL and no-SQL databases
· A solid understanding of security, session management, and best development practices
· Adequate knowledge of object oriented programming principles and software design patterns
· Experience setting up and managing cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and dedicated servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS)
· Knowledge of task management (JIRA) and version control systems (TFS, Git, Subversion)
· Hands-on experience with performance and network diagnostics and analytics tools
· Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, rapidly learn and master diverse set of web, cloud and mobile technologies.
· Basic skills with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
