We are looking for a qualified social media marketing specialist to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep passion for social media, stay abreast of new developments and opportunities in the gaming industry, and be a strategic thinker. You must have an outgoing personality as in-person networking will also be part of the job.
What you’ll be doing
Setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies (Discord, Reddit, Facebook, etc)
Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
Coordinate with Marketing team to ensure brand consistency
Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
Stay up-to-date with Esports and gaming hardware trends
Learning outcomes and objectives
Obtaining the experience of building up brand’s a global community across several social media platforms
In-depth understanding of community building social medias and how to manage them professionally
Obtaining mastery over data analytics for community metrics and community marketing data
Building solid relationships with important international esports stakeholders
Job requirements
Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent writing skills
Experience with using Facebook, Discord, Reddit and Twitter.
