WhyQ – Business Development Intern

WhyQ is Singapore's largest hawker food delivery service and is one of Singapore's fastest growing startups. Having raised our Series A funding round, we are expanding aggressively. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a driven and hardworking individual to play a key role in a young and dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Expand WhyQ's business by meeting hawkers/food vendors and getting them onboard with WhyQ
• Identify and negotiate with new potential hawker/food vendor stalls to partner with
• Renegotiate agreements with existing hawker/food vendor partners to strengthen relationships
• Work with customer service representatives to manage issues faced during daily operations
• Manage ad-hoc projects and new revenue verticals that the Business Development Team is working on
• Research and recommend new target markets for expansion

Requirements:

• Candidates with Business Development/Sales Experience or keen to explore a Business Development/Sales role 
• Candidates who are keen on joining a startup 
• Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills 
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and independent 
• Ability to speak mandarin would be a bonus
• We are looking for individuals who are available to join us on a full-time internship starting from December 2020 to May/June 2020. We will also consider highly motivated candidates who are able to commit at least 3 days a week.
• Working Hours: 9.30am to 6.30pm
