WhiteLabel PR – Public Relations (PR) Intern

Job brief

We are seeking a Public Relations Intern, who is full of creative ideas and eager to contribute. The intern will gain visibility into the inner workings and aspects of the public relations field, provide concrete deliverables and learn from top to bottom. When the internship is completed, you will be ready to enter any fast paced PR firm.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all forms of media
• Schedule and coordinate media/client engagements, appearances, photo shoots, and other special events
• Write press releases and other materials
• Assist with mailings, print production
• Create interview preparation materials
• Compile contact lists
• Create or update databases
• Create and curate engaging content
• Communicate and build relationships with current or prospect clients, including pitching, researching and scheduling interviews if needed
• Assist at events if necessary
• Effectively utilise WhiteLabelPR’s social media and blogs

Requirements

• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
• Good understanding of the different social networks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Efficiency at MS Office and Photoshop would be great
• Passion for the PR industry and its best practices
• Already own a laptop
