Are you confident, people-driven and have exceptional writing skills? We are on the lookout for an individual who enjoys working with clients and our friends in the media. What You’ll Learn
Build community relations and develop social outreach strategy

Develop strong relationships with internal teams and press partners
- You’ll have the opportunity to experience the breadth and depth of work in a full-service boutique agency, and understand its functions and value contribution to the clients

Develop critical analytic and communication skills

- You’ll gain access to business statistics to manage and track the brand’s identity in the media
Job Description
Develop, execute and evaluate strategic PR plans
- Help to develop short, mid and long-term strategic Public Relations goals
- Build relationships with the press across print, broadcast and online platforms to increase exposure for our clients
- Pitch to top media outlets for news, product announcements, profiles, features, and thought leadership pieces
- Identify and pursue media placement opportunities in targeted press outlets
Manage messaging and relationships with the media
- Develop and dissemination of press kits with management’s approval
- Track, monitor and evaluate reception of press releases
- Monitor and share coverage of news with team members and clients
Manage all marketing, branding and copywriting needs
- Craft the full suite of communications across print and online including social media
Requirements
Experience
- This is an internship. We will be your experience. 🙂
Commitment
- 6 months (pretty please).
Skills Required:
- Excellent writing and copy editing skills
- Great storyteller
- Experience with publishing online content
- Experience or knowledge of media management and tracking tools is a bonus
- Experience of working with in-house or at an agency is a bonus
- Working knowledge of social media platforms
- General understanding of broader marketing, PR & other digital tactics
What we’re looking for in you:
- Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies
- High levels of tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong communication skills, especially ability to think on feet
- Ability to convey complex concepts and messages through stories which resonate with audiences
- Strong project development and project management skills
- Fluent language skills for target markets and press outlets
