WelcomeStay – Full-Stack Engineer Intern

WelcomeStay started in 2025 and helps universities house their international students with off-campus housing. We are in the process of developing the portal and creating process flows to automate the day-to-day operations.

Feature development

• Build new features from scratch across the full stack — database, API, and UI — as the product roadmap evolves
• Implement and extend the backend pipelines that power listing imports, student matching, and tenancy workflows

Engineering standards & process

• Bring best practices to the codebase: improve structure, error handling, type safety, and test coverage
• Design and document development processes that help the team ship faster and with more confidence
• Write tests for critical paths so we can keep building without breaking what already works

AI & automation (nice to have)

• Help design and set up AI agent workflows that automate our operations — student enquiries, listing management, bilingual content generation
• Integrate with LLM APIs and automation pipelines
