Job Description

Our internship programme provides graduates and students who have an interest in data, insights and media the opportunity to gain practical work experience through on-the-job training.  You will gain exposure to a wide variety of data, from social and web analytics to custom research, and understand how these map to better content and strategy for brands.

The internship programme is 3-6 months on a full-time basis.  Interested parties must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 months. Full time employment may be offered to interns upon the completion of the internship programme based on work performance and business needs.

Interested parties, regardless of your academic disciplines, who have a passion for data and storytelling are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with managers to develop reports for APAC clients
  • Update Client Databases to assist in campaign and regional analysis
  • Working with data, checking data accurately and making logical recommendations
  • Drafting reports and presentations with supervision and guidance
  • Staying updated on project-related information and preparing standard reports
  • Developing knowledge of basic research and analytics terminology and approaches

Pre-requisites:

  • Soft skills
  • Curiosity and Interest in people, media and technology  
  • Good communication skills, written and oral
  • Sound trouble-shooting skills
  • Exceptional time management skills and able to work under pressure
  • Good with numbers and comfortable working and managing large datasets
  • Able to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Basic software/computer/writing skills

 Technical skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • University or Polytechnic student or graduate, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, Social Sciences or related field preferred
  • Experience with social media data, custom research (e.g. SPSS or similar tools) a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications or visualizations software, such as Excel PivotTables, PowerBI or Tableau a plus.
