The Community and Platform team is all about growing and nurturing our portfolio companies and connecting our entrepreneurs with supporters in the community. We do this by generating thought leadership content, running highly relevant and targeted events, building long-lasting partnerships with individuals and organisations, providing value-added services, and creating serendipity for our community.
We’re looking for a Community and Platform Intern to help ensure that our machine is well-oiled, with events management being the primary focus.
Your typical day might consist of:
- Help plan out every little detail of our events (What’s the agenda? Who are we inviting? What will people eat and drink? What AV equipment do we need? How much can we spend? What about the presentation visuals?)
- Project manage and execute on the events plan (venue and catering sourcing, sending out invites, coordinating with guest speakers, managing RSVPs)
- Help to maintain data integrity of our community database

- Perhaps you’re currently pursuing your education in marketing or events management
- You’re passionate about the startup world and would love to work with smart and driven entrepreneurs
- You’re ready to roll your sleeves up and eager to do whatever it takes to ensure our events run smoothly
- You’re meticulous, organised and process-oriented
- You’re a strong communicator and have excellent people-skills
- You’re innately curious and you’re hungry to learn
