Job Description/Scope
The production technician position is responsible for performing diversified duties to produce high quality product according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to support the department’s business goals and objectives. Job scope includes, but may not be limited to:
- materials preparation
- assembling of high quality product
- perform quality control process to ensure product is up to quality standards
- packing of completed product
- recording of data from work processes
- maintain inventory of materials to ensure smooth workflow in production
- assist in developing, building and testing of new processes or improvements to current processes
Requirements
- willingness to learn and innovate
- able to work in a team
- able to work in dust generating environment (personal protective equipment provided)
- no experience required, people fresh out of ORD are welcomed
- at least 5-6 months of commitment (ideal duration)
You will be exposed to supply chain, various production management tools and scheduling management. You would be also exposed to water filtration technologies, learning how to assess problems and evaluate solutions through critical thinking. You would be provided with abundant opportunities to test out your own ideas for improvements.
