The Marketing Intern will assist the marketing team in the planning, production, and execution of high-quality marketing activations and initiatives in collaboration with our stakeholders, consultants, partners and vendors. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills he/she acquired in school related to his/her particular areas of interest and apply them in a professional setting. The candidate will gain professional experience in communications, marketing, analytics, outreach and event planning for a global leader in immersive experience that holds global partnerships with billion-dollar studios.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the marketing team with promotional efforts.
• Assist the Communications & Marketing department with day-to-day promotion of events.
• Assist in growing the social media profile of the project. This includes increasing the frequency of interaction, brainstorming ideas, keeping the content fresh, and monitoring and analyzing results.
• Research relevant stories, articles and trends.
• Update timelines and assist with project management.
• Other tasks as assigned.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
• An interest and aptitude to work in event planning, marketing or associated management fields.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Creativity for ideas, conceptualisation and gimmicks.
• Must be trustworthy and able to work with confidential data.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
• Willingness to work in digital media space, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
• Willingness to work on social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications
