Primary Responsibilities
- Front-end coding (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) within frameworks & architectures (e.g. React, Redux).
- Develop responsive web and/or hybrid mobile applications and features (e.g. on React Native) with cross-browser and -device compatibility.
- Work closely with the product development team and actively contribute feature ideas and designs to improve the company’s product portfolio.
- Adopt TDD practices, continuous integration, and assist QA across staging to production.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Back-end coding (e.g. Ruby) within frameworks & architectures (e.g. Rails, SOA).
- Support the implementation of Agile methodology and Scrum processes in the company.
- Support documentation of product development processes as best practice & for future accreditation.
Job Requirements:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with or familiarity with at least 1 front end framework (knowledge of React will be an advantage)
- Experience with or familiarity with developing RESTful services (JSON)
- Knowledge of JavaScript using JQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with source control systems like Git
- Good written and spoken English
- Eager to learn, able to grasp concepts quickly
- Great team player and inter-personal skills
