(1) WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing)
- Assist the WAAM manager in all day to day tasks
- Supervise the production
- Troubleshoot errors and advise work arounds, as necessary. Empower the WAAM operators to produce parts with expected quality standards. Maintain WAAM operational records.
- Enforce rules and propose improvements for safety of the people in the shop.
- Manage the post processing
- Follow up orders (Heat treatment, blanking, finishing) to ensure on time completion of the parts.
- Qualify new vendors if needed
- Ensure compliance in safety and quality of all vendors
- Programming AM robot – Python
- Designing and modelling - Autodesk Fusion 360 or any other 3D modelling software packages
- Liaise with our competence centre in France to get support and share competences
- Reporting of production progress and issues encountered
- Propose improvements to the WAAM process in order to increase production volumes
(2) Operation (VAM threading)
- Plan, track and execute continuous improvement activities in the shopfloor
- Support Total Preventive Maintenance program at 6ML
- Perform workflow planning and analysis to improve efficiency
- Facilitate VAPC Industrial Excellence Maturity Assessment
Requirements:
- Professional Certificate/ Diploma holders in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Familiar with Auodesk fusion 360 or similar 3D modeling softwares.
- Familiarity with python coding is a desired skill.
- Knowledge or prior experience in welding or any of the additive manufacturing technologies and preventive maintenance would be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player and willing to perform hands-on task on needs basis.
- Newly Graduated Student / Non Mature Mid Career Individuals/ Mature Mid Career Individuals are welcome to apply. No experience is required, training will be provided
Duration of Traineeship - 12 months
(a) 1st 6 month under SGUnited Traineeship Programme
- Training Allowance: $2,000.00
- Annual leave: 7 days (eligible after 3 month services)
- Sick leave: 7 days (eligible after 3 month services)

(b) 6 months extension under company
- Training Allowance: $2,000.00

Subject to his/her satisfactory of work performance, the trainee can be converted to permanent position.
