We, UST Global, are a leading US based IT Major for Training and Employment on Application development and deployment on Cloud Platforms like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud platform etc.
Under this CLT training program, prospective employees will undergo a structured training as well as the on-the-job training to prepare them for practical projects and industry engagements. At the end of the training period, the trainees will be offered permanent positions with UST Global or opportunities to develop their careers within the ICT industry. This is a Company Led Training program in partnership with IMDA Singapore.
What we are looking in you?
- Experience in a programming or scripting language.
- Hands on exposure in code editor/IDE applications such as Visual Studio, Visual Code, Eclipse, Atom, Sublime Text, Vim.
- Basic understanding of Http protocol, Databases and Messaging protocols.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Very good analytical & problem-solving skills.
- An entrepreneurial mind set and enthusiasm in hackathons.
- Hardworking and team player mentality.
- Eager to learn and can-do attitude.
What you will achieve after 12 months?
- Knowledge on a public cloud platform (Either AWS or GCP or Azure) and different components of it.
- Confidence in developing cloud native applications in either AWS or Azure or GCP.
- Work in a team and collaborate with solution architects and senior developers to deliver assigned tasks.
- Ability to test and debug cloud native and agnostic applications in either AWS or Azure or GCP.
- Monitor and trouble shoot cloud solutions in either AWS or Azure or GCP.
- Basic knowledge on continuous integration and deployment strategies in a cloud platform.
- Document the approach and actions taken for development and testing of code.
