URBNarc – Senior Architectural Designer

URBNarc is was founded by Gaurang Khemka with a vision to design sustainable and complete environments – exceptional communities, places, spaces and buildings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing all aspects of the building from concept to completion;
• Establishing design intent, assembling mood boards with image precedents, samples etc as may be required to convey design ideas.
• Liaising with Client and Consultants on matters of design, technical co-ordination and building regulations;
• Working closely with the In-house Interior Design team for coordination and seamless cohesion of architecture and interior design;
• Direction, co-ordination, organisation & preparation of Construction Documents and Drawings
• Prepare drafts of Material specifications and schedule of finishes;
• Checking Design, Submission, Consultants & Contractors Shop Drawings
• Conducting Site inspections on matters of design & technical co-ordination issues and building regulations
• Ensuring quality and high level of customer satisfaction

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Architectural degree recognized by Board of Architects Singapore is preferred but not necessary
• Minimum 8 years experience in architect/ designer function for diverse project types.
• Must have experience in Hotel and Residential design, Experience with Commercial and Mixed-Use Development is preferred but optional.
• Able to do freehand sketches and possess good command of AutoCAD, Photoshop, In-design, Sketchup, PowerPoint, MS office and other related software to fully express design ideas and communicate with project team and clients
•  Possess creative ideas and proven track record of design portfolio with excellent design detailing skills and time management
• Able to work independently with strong project management, excellent presentation and communication skills. 
•  Passionate and motivated personnel preferred who is willing to work hard and long hours to complete projects
