Upskills is seeking a highly motivated intern to be based in Singapore with software engineering and machine learning algorithm knowledge to participate on various machine learning projects for new financial technology market software solutions as well as for improvements to our internal management tools.
You will be responsible for, and not limited to:
Responsibilities
•Work with the product development team, creating and deploying financial technology to various financial institutions.
•Work together with our in-house teams on our machine learning initiatives/projects
•Translate business needs to technical requirement•Involve for developing modules for machine learning products
•Involve in the planning of system architecture
•Involve in the devops of the product releasesKeyRequirements
•Pursuing Computer Science / Civil Engineering is preferred
•Full proficiency in Python / Java etc•Some knowledge on machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, NLP would be beneficial
•Some Knowledge of web development environments and languages PHP, Javascript, SQL
•Ability to solve technical challenges and solutions
•Good command of spoken & written English
•A fast learner and able to work independently
•Able to commit to a minimum of 3 -6 months
