Upcare AUS Pty Ltd is looking to hire a intern full stack developer with extensive experience with wordpress platforms as well as experience developing application-based tools to help automate processes. The locality of the job is in Singapore and only available to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
The job allows for flexibility with a working from home arrangement, with occasional meetup and travel companionship within Singapore.
Requirements
- Currently a university student, studying in a computer science, software engineering and/ or related field and have a extensive portfolio; or
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering and/ or related field or related experience;
- You have extensive experience and knowledge with platforms like wordpress, bubble.io, etc
- You are proficient in the application of multiple front and back-end languages such as HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, XML, C#, Python, jQuery, PHP and ReactJS.
- Experience with developing cloud-based applications, websites, desktop and mobile applications.
- Understanding of machine learning, large language models, computer vision, natural language processing, etc
- Able to work in a small team or independently in a dynamic environment with assigned timelines.
- Good attention to detail with an analytical mind.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project lead (systems) from the conceptualization, design, development, testing and implementation of platforms and services;
- Work closely with the marketing lead and designers to create user centric, accessible websites as well as digital and ideate software solutions;
- Build front and back-end of websites and applications through appealing visual designs;
- Test applications and platforms to ensure user friendliness, user accessibility, responsiveness and efficiency; and
- Troubleshoot, fixing issues, debug of errors in codes and apply necessary upgrades.
Current Projects (Immediate Job Task)
- Work closely with the project lead (systems) to develop a functioning website in accordance to the design requirements as set by the leadership team and project lead (systems);
Future Projects
- Develop a cloud-based or simple application for internal staff to input data which would generate a quote.
- Develop a customer-facing app and staff app with elements of gamification and use of game-based approach to improve on user engagement.
- Work with allied health & nursing professionals to develop AI-powered technical tools to reduce errors in clinical judgement (i.e application based wound assessment tools with API that can be used with AR based technologies)
