We are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic intern who will not shy away from challenges. Come to work in a trendy shop house right in the middle of Chinatown, where lunch will never be a boring affair with the limitless selection of food choices nearby. You can also look forward to working with a young and dynamic team, get the opportunity to be hands-on; learning the ropes on the ground and be exposed to all elements of businesses internally and externally!
Job Scope
· Work independently and in a team, driving merchant acquisition for gifting and incentive programs;
· Constantly be in-the-know of latest lifestyle and food trends;
· Responsible in identifying/acquiring new merchants, renewing selected existing merchants and up-keeping of all necessary data throughout internship;
· Initiate cold calls and emails to acquire new merchants and setting up meetings;
· Coordinate/conduct face-to-face meetings/presentations with prospective merchants;
· Proactive in contributing ideas to improve the performance of the team and the business
Criteria
· Good interpersonal and communications skills with fluency in English, written and spoken;
· Independent and a team player;
· Street-smart and resourceful (online and offline);
· Able to multi-task, prioritise and manage tasks independently and in a team;
· Strong attention to detail is a must;
· Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
