Job Description

You will assume an essential role in ensuring coating products are in accordance to international standards. Through the internship, you will comprehend and experience the procedures necessary for testing, analysis and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform chemical analysis and evaluation on paint / coating products to ensure compliance to international standards

 Conduct accelerated weathering and solar radiation tests

 Maintain and upkeep testing and monitoring equipment

 Maintain and calibrate instruments as required

Learning Outcomes:

 Reinforce and integrate theories on chemical analysis to workplace testing, analysis and evaluation assignments

 Build an understanding on workplace SOP and international standards and their applicability on actual analysis

 Learn the maintenance and upkeep procedures necessary to support day-to-day operations

 Gain interpersonal and hone communication skills through interaction with stakeholders

Key Requirements:

 Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Biological Chemistry

 Results and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills

 A proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines

 Enthusiastic and resourceful with a “can-do” attitude
