About Us

JAZ-AV provides event support services for weddings, corporate events, brand activations and private celebrations. Our services include portable LED display screen rental and deployment, flower bars, perfume bars and other interactive event experiences.

We are looking for reliable regular part-time event staff to support our event operations on an event-by-event basis.

Job Type

Regular Part-Time / Event-BasedWork schedule will depend on confirmed event bookings. Assignments may include weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays, depending on event requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the event, you may be assigned to one or more of the following duties:

LED Display Screen Support

  • Assist with the set-up, deployment and pack-down of portable mobile LED display screens.
  • Help load, move and position event equipment safely at event venues.
  • Assist with basic media content deployment on LED display screens, according to provided instructions.
  • Conduct simple checks to ensure display content is running properly during the event.
  • Escalate any technical issues to the event lead or supervisor.

Flower Bar / Perfume Bar Support

Training and guidance will be provided where required.

  • Assist guests with the selection of flowers, scents or event items.
  • Guide guests through the event flow and activity process.
  • Support the on-site preparation and wrapping of bouquets.
  • Keep the activity area neat, presentable and well-stocked.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests.

General Event Support

  • Assist with event set-up and tear-down.
  • Follow event instructions, timelines and safety guidelines.
  • Support the event lead with operational tasks as required.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, guests and venue staff.

Requirements

  • Able to commit to event-based assignments when scheduled.
  • Comfortable working in event environments, including weddings, corporate events and private functions.
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Responsible, punctual and well-organised.
  • Comfortable with light physical work, including standing during events and assisting with movement of event items or equipment.
  • Prior event, customer service, retail, floristry, AV or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
  • Training and guidance will be provided for event-specific tasks.

Pay

Hourly wage: $10 to $15 per hour, depending on event requirements, assigned duties, experience and suitability.

New part-time staff will start at $10-12 per hour. Rate adjustments may be considered after approximately 3 months of continuous event support, subject to performance, reliability, suitability and ongoing business needs.

Working Location

Event venues across Singapore. Specific reporting location and event details will be shared before each assignment.
