Tropick – Fashion Marketing Intern

The role:

We are looking for someone eager to learn more about e-commerce fashion who is willing to wear many hats. We aim to provide guidance and foster growth in this individual and don’t expect the candidate to have mastered all the listed skills. We will provide and teach strategy as you learn to execute campaigns. This role requires a self-starter with a willingness to learn, solve problems, and take initiative. As the brand grows, there will be opportunity for the role to grow as well. This will be a part time internship role with flexible hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Run social media activities
  • Posting on all of our active social channels
  • Content creation
  • Organising social shoots
  • Social calendar management
  • Community engagement
  • Influencer campaign management 
    • Research relevant influencers and content creators
    • Contact and seeding logistics
    • Clipping of influencer posts and tracking metrics
• Provide market insights 
  • Research social media trend
  • Research eCommerce fashion trends and relevant competitors
  • Research relevant retailers and provide insight into their current offering
• Email Communications
  • Bi-monthly promotional EDM ideation and copy
• Assist at photoshoots
  • Assisting with photoshoot logistics and product transport
  • Create mood boards and shot lists
•  eCommerce inventory management
  • Occasional online order packing
  • Cross checking inventory numbers
  • Organising retail partner orders

Requirements:

• Diploma or a strong portfolio in marketing, communications or related field
• Able to commit a minimum of 3-6 months
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and time management
• Self-motivated and proactive when it comes to suggesting processes or implementing new ways of working
• Unafraid to ask questions and push the boundaries of the role
• Strong command of English
