Job Description

About the role
We are looking for a young, dynamic person to join our team as an intern for 6 months, then
ideally as a new hire. The role includes the dimensions described below.
Posting and monitoring social media
You will own our social channels and be our voice out there. You will post content according to
our content calendar and optimize the engagement in order to attract more early adopters on
our channels and ultimately help downloads when we launch the product.
The social channels include primarily Instagram and Facebook but might include others as well,
including TikTok.
We don’t want to be everything to everyone, so you will be instrumental in conveying our brand
personality in order to build a community, bring value to our users with helpful, useful or
entertaining content.
You like to measure what you do and report the evolution of the key metrics. When you see
metrics that are off, you take ownership -with the flawless support of the team- and you can
propose quick actions to course-correct and stick to our growth plan.
Creating content
You will have to create content in different forms, adapted for social media. This includes
copywriting, snackable and bite-sized content, small graphics and engaging stories. You should
be familiar with the tools to do this.
You will help refine our content strategy and content calendar to make it more impactful and
differentiated.
We are big believers in the “power of done”. Getting things done quickly, cutting to the chase
and trying to do things right the first time is what defines you. The cadence of posting and
engaging users matters. Content marketing is 30% creation and 70% promotion, so the content
creation process shouldn’t slow down the overall engagement with the community.
Building and engaging with the community
You will join us in the pre-launch phase of our product, which means the primary goal is to
engage users with content and create a community of like minded travellers. This will happen in
the digital and social media world, but also in the physical world.
You like to meet new people, you are curious, you like to engage with them and they remember
you. You see the physical encounters and gatherings as an extension of social media.
Ideally you have helped organize events and you’re ready to go the extra mile and use guerilla
marketing techniques to achieve a lot with not much and create memorable moments.
About you
You are dynamic, fearless and you are a doer. You have ideas and you ‘re here to leave your
mark.
Our marketing operating model is around experimentations. We set expectations, measure,
double-down on what works and turn off what doesn’t.
You already have strong social profiles and a solid follower base, and you are passionate about
travel. You deeply care about sustainability.
Importantly, you are Singaporean or hold a PR and speak good english. Ideally you can speak
bahasa indonesia since Indonesia will be one of our key markets, as well as a bit of french since
a few team members are french. We realize that is super rare, so don’t be shy if you don’t know
all this!
