We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to perform high-quality soldering and assembly of electronic components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have steady hands, strong attention to detail, and experience working with PCB assemblies while following quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual soldering of electronic components (through-hole and SMD)
- Assemble and rework printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Inspect solder joints for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Use soldering tools, rework stations, and inspection equipment
- Identify and repair soldering defects (cold joints, bridges, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times
Job Description & Requirements
- Experience in working in electronics factory environment
- Knowledge of IPC-610 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 is a must
- Knowledge of electronics board rework and/or IPC-7711/7721 is an advantage
- Ability to read BOM and assembly drawing
- Independent worker
- Skillful and meticulous
- Use of scope and various inspection devices
- Able to read/write simple English would be an advantage
