Travelodge Hotels Asia is a well-established and highly recognised hotel brand with a network of more than 1,000 Travelodge-branded hotels worldwide in key travel markets such as the US, Europe and Australasia. Headquartered in Singapore, Travelodge Hotels Asia is responsible for the development of Travelodge hotels in Asia and has successfully launched the Travelodge brand in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
The investments intern will work closely with our investments team in evaluating hospitality real estate opportunities across Asia and assist in the acquisition process of real estate investments.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting industry research on the hospitality real estate market in Asia
- Drafting pitchbooks and investment memorandums for investment opportunities
- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities with relevant financial models and analysis
- Assist in drafting term sheets and deal documentation
- Assist in conducting due diligence process on real estate acquisitions
Candidates should be organized and detail-oriented. Excellent written, verbal communication, analytical skills, ability to multi-task and cope with tight deadlines are a must. Intellectually curious investment interns will be offered the opportunity to gain in depth insights in hotel business development. Ideally, candidates should be in the third or fourth year of their undergraduate studies and have relevant internship experience in either finance, real estate development or fund management.
