Transport Capital is looking for an enthusiastic Communications & Marketing Intern to join our team and assist in achieving our marketing goals. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies.

Internship Commencement: May 2022

• Support team in internal communications, marketing, and PR campaigns
• Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collaterals
• Assist in the creation and editing of video and image content for social media posts, websites, and other marketing collaterals
• Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
• Assist in the management and maintenance of website content & SEO
• Perform market analysis and research on the competition
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
• Monitor and report the results of marketing initiatives
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Attend to media enquiries and content collaborations

Marketing Intern Qualifications / Skills:

• Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable with multitasking and managing multiple projects
• Basic understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc)
• Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
• Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing, business, or equivalent
• Previous experience in social media management tools (HootSuite etc) and graphic design platform (Canva) a plus
