Job Description

Internship Overview

We are seeking motivated Engineering Interns to join our team for a 6-month industrial attachment. This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering design, project execution, and site management, allowing you to apply academic knowledge to real industry challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and analysis of engineering systems (mechanical, electrical, process).

  • Support preparation of engineering drawings, P&IDs, calculations, and reports.

  • Participate in project coordination, vendor engagement, and client meetings.

  • Conduct site inspections, data collection, and supervision support for ongoing works.

  • Contribute to risk assessments, method statements, and compliance checks (ISO, MOM, SCDF, NFPA, SS codes).

  • Work with senior engineers on concept design, detailed engineering, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in NTU / NUS in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related).

  • Eligible for 6-month full-time industrial attachment.

  • Strong interest in semiconductor / advanced manufacturing facilities.

  • Knowledge of engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, CFD, PipeFlow, HYSYS) is an advantage.

  • Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Apply academic engineering knowledge to real industrial projects.

  • Gain experience in EPC/EPCM project execution within semiconductor and advanced manufacturing.

  • Develop professional skills in design, project management, and compliance.

  • Exposure to ISO, Fire Code, MOM safety standards, and risk management practices.
