1. Content Creation
- Vertical Cinematography: Capture high-quality 9:16 and 16:9 content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Mobile & Cinema Rig Management: Operate a diverse range of gear, from professional mirrorless setups to mobile gimbals and iPhone-based rigs.
- Set Direction: Co-directing KOLs/clients on-site to ensure performances feel organic and on brand.
- Lighting: Implement lighting setups that prioritize aesthetic "vibes"—from ring lights for beauty shots to stylized professional lighting for a diverse range of content.
2. Fast-Paced Post
- Production & Editing- Retention-Focused Editing: Execute fast-cut edits using "hooks" and visual cues designed to stop the scroll and maximize viewer retention.
- Effective storytelling to achieve objectives of content through visual and audio storytelling using filmmaking techniques in a social media space.
- Graphics: Integrate dynamic and exciting text overlays, captions, and on-screen elements that elevates content while staying true to the brand.
- Sound Design & Trending Audio: Identify and synchronize trending audio tracks and sound effects (SFX) to increase the "virality" potential of the content.
- Adaptation: Adapt contents into multiple formats (1:1, 9:16, 16:9) to fit various social distribution channels. Including a variety of export/import settings.
- Housekeeping: Professional and organized housekeeping of multiple RAW footage and deliverables files.
3. Pre-Vis: Storyboarding & Shot Lists
- Trend Mapping: Translate current viral trends into executable shot lists that align with the client’s brand voice.
- Thumbnail & Hook Planning: Develop visual storyboards that prioritize the first 3 seconds of the video to ensure maximum click-through rates.
- Batch-Production Strategy: Organize shot lists to allow for "batch filming," ensuring the team captures multiple content in a single shoot session.
4. Creative Ideation & Social Strategy
- Creative ideation: Analyze performance/quality from previous videos to suggest creative changes for future edits.
- Collaborative Brainstorming: Work alongside Strategists to align video concepts with monthly content calendars and campaign goals.
Requirements:
- Interest in fast-paced social media content
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Efficient skillset in Adobe Suite & Capcut
- Understanding of social media trends and audience catching techniques
- Understanding of filmmaking techniques to elevate visual storytelling
- Proficient in photography/videography techniques, including lighting and composition
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines while delivering quality results
- Initiative to learn, propose new ideas and explore creativity is a plus
- Any portfolio or website of past works is a plus
