Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and creative Partnerships Intern to lead our efforts in identifying, engaging, and securing strategic partnerships with events, community organizers, and platforms that align with our marketing and business development goals. The successful candidate will manage our sponsorship initiatives, deploying our marketing and partnerships budget effectively to drive lead generation and expand our lead database.

Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Identify and research potential events, communities, and platforms for sponsorship opportunities across global top 100 universities, young urban professionals, and tech talent ecosystems.
⦁ Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage event organizers and community leaders for sponsorship discussions.
⦁ Negotiate and manage sponsorship deals including newsletter campaigns, database acquisitions, webinars, masterclasses, and side-events at major industry forums.
⦁ Collaborate closely with marketing and business development teams to align sponsorship activities with lead generation objectives and pipeline growth.
⦁ Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of sponsorship initiatives and provide actionable insights for optimization.
⦁ Innovate and propose creative partnership ideas that maximize business impact and brand visibility.
⦁ Maintain accurate records and reports of partnership progress and budget utilization.

Overview:
As part of your internship at TIG, you will be tasked with identifying real-life sponsorship opportunities that align with our mission to connect with top-tier university talent, young urban professionals, and tech talent globally. The goal is to source strategic partnerships and sponsorship proposals from credible platforms or events where TIG can deploy its marketing budget for maximum lead generation and brand impact.

Assignment Details:

1. Research & Identify Sponsorship Opportunities:
⦁ Source at least 5 to 8 real events, platforms, or initiatives suitable for sponsorship by TIG. These may include:
⦁ University career fairs or networking events at top 100 global universities
⦁ Industry conferences, webinars, or masterclasses targeting young professionals or tech talent
⦁ Newsletter sponsorships or advertorials in newsletters with high engagement among students and young professionals
⦁ Online communities or forums related to career development or tech innovation
⦁ Hackathons, coding bootcamps, or innovation challenges that attract relevant talent pools
⦁ Side events or masterclasses held alongside major tech or business conferences
⦁ Local or global initiatives focused on workforce reskilling or career pivots
⦁ Digital advertising opportunities targeting relevant audiences through social media groups or platforms

2. Prepare Sponsorship Proposals:
For each opportunity, provide:
⦁ A brief description of the event/platform and its audience profile
⦁ Approximate cost of sponsorship or partnership packages (include multiple tiers if available)
⦁ Specific sponsorship formats (e.g., branded webinars, newsletter ads, database access, event booths, speaking slots)
⦁ Rationale explaining how the opportunity supports TIG’s objectives: expanding the lead database, accessing target talent demographics, and maximizing ROI
⦁ Potential reach and engagement metrics (if available)
⦁ Any unique creative or branding advantages offered

3. Additional Recommendations:
⦁ Suggest innovative sponsorship ideas or partnership approaches beyond traditional event sponsorships, such as:

⦁ Scholarship sponsorships or career development competitions
⦁ Collaborative content creation or masterclasses featuring TIG coaches

4. Deliverables:
⦁ A detailed report or presentation summarizing each sponsorship proposal with costings and strategic rationale.
