Job Description

We are hiring a Marketing Director to lead and manage our sponsorships function and the team of sponsorship managers responsible for commercial partnerships. This role requires a strategic leader with experience building and scaling partnerships teams, optimizing outreach and sales processes, and working directly with the founder to shape revenue strategy for our newsletter and international career summit. The Director will be accountable for team targets, sponsor pipeline quality, and long term relationships with university career placement centers, university enrolment and admissions offices, admissions consulting firms, education technology companies, and career coaching consultancies. This is a senior leadership position with a competitive base salary, performance bonus, and uncapped earning potential tied to overall revenue growth.

The Marketing Director should have at least 7 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or revenue leadership, ideally within education, career services, media, or B2B SaaS, with a demonstrated track record of managing and scaling a sales or sponsorships team to meet aggressive targets. Candidates must bring a strong existing network across university career centers, admissions and enrolment offices, education firms, and career coaching consultancies, plus the ability to coach sponsorship managers on prospecting, negotiation, and deal execution while working directly with the founder on strategy. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and leadership skills, data driven decision making, and the commercial acumen to grow revenue across our Substack newsletter and international career summit.
