THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors' Community, and Therapy.

Job Description
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to assess trainees’ readiness for externship and open employment. 
  • Communicate with trainees to understand their goals and ambitions, assess their strengths and needs. 
  • Source and arrange for job training and employment opportunities for trainees.
  • Conduct site assessment to analyse and evaluate the suitability of the job site. 
  • Conduct induction workshops for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Prepare the trainees for the externship. 
  • Support the Occupational Therapist in providing one-on-one training tailored to the needs of the trainee using tasks analysis of the identified job duties. 
  • Co-devise, plan and implement job coaching strategies and accommodations needed with the multi-disciplinary team. 
  • Follow up with employers periodically on the progress of trainees at the job sites. 
  • Develop or adjust effective job coaching and employment plans for trainees whenever needed. 
  • Advocate for an inclusive work environment. 
  • Keep track, oversee and document trainees' progress and maintain proper, up-to-date documentation.

 

Qualification

  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline

  • Working experience in the F&B & hospitality industry preferred.
  • A strong team player with excellent people skills. 
  • Able to work as a team player but also a self-motivated and independent individual. 
  • Possess communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Possess organisational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.• Respect for diversity. 
  • Ability to inspire and motivate. • Ability to take on multiple roles and various responsibilities. 
  • Experience in working with people with special needs will be a plus.
  • Requires travelling around Singapore.
