Thinking Notes – Senior Web Designer

Thinking Notes is looking for a senior web designer with at least 2 years of managerial experience at an agency.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Extremely keen eye for design
• Expert in HTML/CSS/JS
• Expert with WordPress Theme Development
• Experienced with major WordPress plugins
• Have at least 2 of experience in managing web design projects
• Adept in website copywriting, editing and proofreading
• Have stellar leadership skills
• Able to delegate work effectively to optimise productivity of the web design team
• Understands SEO design principles
• Proficient in English
• Strong internet research skills
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Communicate with clients to discuss their web design/UX needs, considering their brand and objectives
• Brainstorm, create and execute a web design strategy for clients’ site
• Write programming code to build the website and alter the design
• Stay up-to-date with the latest coding developments and changes, utilise new technology to streamline design processes and adhere to best practices
• Plan and delegate work to the design team and manage the team based on the production calendar
• Ensure quality of projects delivered, including checking for site responsiveness, fixing any bugs or faults and checking the site on different browsers to assess potential usability issues
• Execute other creative projects such as creating graphics for social media usage
