SOFTWARE ENGINEER - ASSOCIATE
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking to build up our software engineering team to support the firm in developing and enhancing our trading tools and operational processes.
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will assist our Lead Software Engineer in various projects, such as to:
- develop custom trading systems and design user interfaces for individual traders or team
- collaborate closely with traders to build algorithmic trading models for different assets classes while adhering to different Exchanges' regulations
- gain understanding in data structures, algorithms and optimization
- integrate APIs to improve the efficiency of micro-services processes
- understand the functions of financial markets and trading terms
- present well-thought technological solutions to issues brought up by various departments of the firm
- proactively generate new ideas to improve efficiency of existing operational systems and enhance existing trading tools
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally, you:
- have background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related fields
- are proficient in at least one of these languages: C#, C++, Python
- are able to work well in teams as well as individually
- are able to work in dynamic environment
- have strong attention to detail and systematic approach to problem solving
- are driven to deliver results before deadlines
