Join a cutting-edge team at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare. As a Computing Science Intern, you’ll develop and implement advanced AI algorithms to analyse medical images, improve diagnostic accuracy, and support clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of MedClarity’s software modules.
• Assist in developing and refining AI/ML models for cardiac CT image analysis.
• Support data preprocessing, annotation, and pipeline optimization for imaging datasets.
• Perform software verification and validation testing in alignment with medical device standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Collaborate with team members on debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation to support regulatory submissions and internal processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python (experience with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenCV is a plus).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of machine learning, computer vision, or medical imaging concepts is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with human anatomy, image processing techniques, and medical imaging modalities (a plus).
• Exposure to federated learning, explainable AI, or regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, CE) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
• Must be able to commit for at least 8 months.
