The Writer’s Place is a Premium Creative Writing School for Primary School students. With more than a decade in the industry, we aim to empower children by inspiring the love for the English language while imparting the art of writing. We hope to spread the power of the mighty pen, yielded by any aspiring young writer. Our branches are located at Keat Hong CC and Woodlands Galaxy CC.
Part-time English Creative Writing Teacher
Our teachers are the core of our organization. They inspire and coach our students, encouraging and celebrating every step towards improvement.
At The Writer’s Place, you will be implementing fun and effective lessons designed by our dedicated in-house curriculum team. You take pride in keeping track of your students’ progress and development, and are motivated to go the extra mile to support those who need it.
You are a confident and amiable communicator who is able to build a good rapport with your students, as well as their parents. You are eager to learn and responsible, with a strong work ethic. You are able to keep up a professional image, and portray yourself as an extension of our company through attire and speech.
Our ideal teacher is/has:
- Fun, and able to make lessons enjoyable.
- Able to commit for at least one academic year.
- Majoring in a local university in related fields of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Communications, Business or Law.
- Excellent academic grades in English, English Literature and/or General Paper.
- In line with The Writer’s Place’s values and methods of teaching
