The Weekend Florist – Floral Assistant Intern

As a Floral Assistant Intern at The Weekend Florist, you will work closely with our skilled florists to learn the art of floral design and assist in creating stunning arrangements. You will have the chance to gain insights into the daily operations of a busy floral studio, from selecting the freshest blooms to arranging and packaging beautiful bouquets and centerpieces.

We are seeking a creative and hardworking floral designer to join our team. As a junior florist assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the floral design team.

Responsibility:

• Assist our experienced florists in preparing and arranging flowers for various occasions, including weddings, events, and daily orders.
• Process daily customer’s orders and logistics.
• Oversee the entire order processing cycle from order to delivery confirmation.
• Ensure accurate order fulfilment, taking special requests and preferences into account.
• Prepare and upkeep freshness of flowers.
• Participate in the cleaning and organizing of the floral studio to maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
• Provide support during busy periods and peak seasons, ensuring all customer orders are prepared with attention to detail.
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Requirements:
