Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Intern to support Finance Department in all core areas — Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Purchasing, and Admin functions. The Finance team works closely with the Finance Shared Services Centre (SSC) to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. The intern will assist with daily finance operations, documentation, reconciliations, and administrative duties, as well as provide support during month-end closing and other time-sensitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with invoice scanning and supplier reconciliations (AP).
  • Support billing, credit card reconciliation related functions (AR).
  • Participate in month end closing activities and GL reconciliations.
  • Support Purchasing operations, including PO conversion, raising vendor creation tickets, and coordination with the SSC.
  • Assist in Cost Audit (inventory and stock counts) and Income Audit (cash count verification and reconciliations).
  • Help with filing, document scanning, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Provide administrative support and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance team.
