Job Description

Short overview on the Unit/Team

At Finance Business Partnering, we drive purposeful conversations among business, finance and internal stakeholders. Building on our understanding of business intelligence and financial metrics, we aim to provide relevant insights to enable our internal stakeholders to make business decisions and identify opportunities for business initiatives.

What the intern can learn during the internship

This internship is an unique opportunity to learn to work with cross functional teams and facilitate effective communication to all stakeholders. The selected intern will gain hands-on experience how to conduct comprehensive financial analysis and understand the operations and business model of an exchange.

Job Description

  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly reporting of financial performance and key metrics.
  • Budgeting/Forecasting: Assist in the annual budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Process Improvements: Conduct data analysis, map process flows and Identify opportunities to streamline and automate excel-based spreadsheets and dashboards

Knowledge and Skill Requirements (please indicate if it is a ‘must’)

  • Major in Accounting, Finance or Statistics or Data Science & Analytics
  • Programming languages: Excel VBA, Tableau, Snowflake and SQL are essential to help in the automation of data extraction and consolidation (must)
  • Strong analytical skills/ Ability to map and analyze business processes
  • Able to work independently
  • Meticulous and detailed oriented
